REGISTERED PROVISIONAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Every individual possesses the inherent ability to achieve their highest potential. This conviction is the cornerstone upon which the transformative powers of vulnerability and healing are harnessed.

Chidi Dim

Chidi is a registered provisional psychologist with a deep passion for supporting individuals on their journey toward healing—particularly those navigating trauma through the lenses of culture, identity, and systemic challenges. She specializes in working with clients from diverse backgrounds and communities, fostering a therapeutic space that is safe, inclusive, and rooted in respect.

Chidi holds a Master of Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Mount Allison University. Her therapeutic approach is integrative and holistic, drawing from evidence-based practices such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT), Mindfulness-Based CBT (MB-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Each session is thoughtfully tailored to reflect her clients’ lived experiences, cultural values, and personal goals. She works collaboratively to explore the emotional, psychological, and social effects of trauma—whether personal, historical, or systemic.

Chidi believes that healing is not one-size-fits-all. He understands that trauma manifests differently for each person, and he honours this by co-creating a therapeutic space where clients feel deeply seen and heard. His style is warm, direct, and compassionate, and he values the power of humour, connection, and collaboration as essential parts of the healing process.

Whether his clients are coping with anxiety, intergenerational trauma, grief, identity-related stress, or simply feeling overwhelmed by life, Chidi is dedicated to walking alongside them. He offers guidance and practical tools to help individuals reconnect with their resilience, cultivate inner peace, and move forward with clarity and confidence.Chidi believes that healing is not one-size-fits-all. LET'S GET PERSONAL

Outside of her work as a therapist, Chidiebere enjoys spending time in nature, exploring local trails, and practicing mindfulness through exercise and journaling. She has a deep appreciation for music, storytelling, and cultural traditions, which help her stay grounded and connected to her community. Chidiebere also enjoys reading, cooking, and finding moments of stillness in her day-to-day life. These activities not only bring her joy but also help her recharge and remain present in the work she does with clients.
