In partnership with the University of Alberta’s Co-Op Program, we are pleased to offer outstanding opportunities for 3rd and 4th-year students to gain invaluable hands-on experience in the field of mental health. Through this collaboration, students have the chance to make meaningful contributions while shaping their careers in psychology.
At Nova Psychology Institute, we invite students enrolled in the Co-Op Program to apply for positions in our Arts Work Experience or Science Internship programs. Applicants must be in good academic standing and actively enrolled in their respective programs. We also welcome students from a range of disciplines who are eager to engage in learning, development, and growth within our institute’s innovative and supportive environment.


How to Apply:
If you are a 3rd or 4th-year Psychology student enrolled in either the Arts Work Experience or the Science Internship Program, we encourage you to reach out to your academic institute to enroll in the Co-Op Program. Nova Psychology must receive confirmation that you are enrolled, or eligible for enrollment, in the Co-Op Program before proceeding with your application.

No, this opportunity is specifically for 3rd and 4th-year undergraduate psychology students pursuing their degree in either the Arts or Science programs. Applicants must be in good academic standing at their respective institution and enrolled, or eligible for enrollment, in the Co-Op program.
The University of Alberta students are enrolled in Arts Work Experience (AWE). AWE provides a flexible range of options that allows Arts undergraduate students to add career-related, full-time work experience to their degree programs.
AWE is accredited by Co-operative Education and Work-Integrated Learning Canada (CEWIL). This accreditation demonstrates the Faculty’s commitment to upholding the recognized standards for co-operative education experiences across the country by providing positive and enriching experiences for students and employers.
The Psychology undergraduate program at the University of Alberta offers students in the Science Internship Program a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of psychology while pursuing their academic studies. This program is designed for students who are passionate about exploring the scientific foundations of psychology and its practical applications.
